Bass Lure Kit Popper and Minnow 4-5g (Pack of 16)

Product Details

This bass lure kit is a 16 piece set of artificial hard baits made up of poppers and minnows from 4-5g, each with noisy balls inside that rattle as the lure moves. The rattle adds sound to the visual pull of the lure, which helps bass find it in coloured water, under weed edges and in low light.

Poppers are surface lures. Cast near cover, let the rings settle, then give a short snap of the rod tip so the cupped face pushes water and pops. Pause, then pop again. Bass often hit on the pause, so wait until you feel the weight before you strike. Poppers shine early and late in the day and on calm water when bass look up for food.

Minnows imitate small baitfish just under the surface. Wind them steadily for a tight roll, or twitch and pause so they dart and hang like an injured fish. When bass will not come up to the popper, a minnow pulled just below them is often the answer.

At 4-5g these are light lures, so fish them on a light spinning rod and thin line for best casting. With 16 pieces you have spares to lose in snags and enough choice to rotate until bass respond.
