Catfish Lure Jointed Steel Wire Minnow 24g 14cm

Product Details

This catfish lure is a 24g, 14cm jointed minnow built on a steel wire, made for big-game fishing for catfish and bass, including in seawater. The steel wire runs through the jointed body and links the sections, so the line tie and hooks are joined by metal rather than by the body alone. That gives you more confidence when a heavy, head-shaking fish takes the bait.

Catfish find prey by vibration and movement as much as by sight, so a jointed bait that swings and kicks is a good choice in coloured water. Retrieve it slowly near the bottom, along drop-offs and past snags, with pauses that let the joints wobble. The 24g weight casts well and helps the lure reach deeper water. The hooks have a blood groove design. Sold as 1 piece.
