Hollow Crawfish Lure Soft Bait 9cm (Pack of 5)

Product Details

This crawfish lure is a 9cm soft bait with a hollow, specially shaped body made to look like a small lobster or crayfish. Crawfish are a staple food for many predators in rivers, lakes and rocky coasts, and a soft imitation that sits and moves on the bottom is one of the most natural presentations you can offer.

The hollow body is the key feature. It is soft and squeezes easily when a fish bites, so the hook point comes through on the strike and fish tend to hold on for longer. The hollow can also be used to hold a little scent paste or attractant, and it gives the bait a lighter, more lifelike drop than a solid plastic body of the same length.

Rigging: a weedless rig with an offset hook and a bullet sinker lets you crawl the bait over rocks and through weed with few snags. A jig head turns it into a compact bait for hopping along clean bottoms, and a drop-shot or Carolina rig keeps it just off the bottom where fish can see it.

How to fish it: cast to rocks, weed edges, fallen trees or drop-offs, let the bait settle and then drag or hop it back slowly, a short distance at a time, with long pauses. Real crawfish dart backwards when they flee, so a sudden lift of the rod after a pause often triggers a strike. Many bites feel like a slight weight or a tap, so set the hook at anything unusual.

The lot holds 5 pieces in the 9cm size.

I have bought them several times, I use them for octopus fishing and don't have to buy sardines every time I go fishing, and they work just as well as if I were using sardines.

The product is about 9cm long and has a hole at the bottom, making it convenient to connect with hooks or other windproof devices. ^^

It doesn't have any smell, but the construction is exactly the same as that one.
