Deep Diving Crankbait 7m Suspending 16.8g (Pack of 3)

Product Details

This deep diving crankbait is a 16.8g wobbler with a 7m dive depth, made to reach fish that hold well below the reach of shallow lures. It suspends, and each pack holds three.

Deep cranks earn their place when fish sit on drop-offs, channel edges, humps and deep weed lines. The long lip drives the bait down as you wind, and the wobble sends out vibration that fish can feel in deep or coloured water. Because the lure suspends, it stops and hangs at depth when you pause the retrieve instead of floating up, which often triggers a following fish to strike.

Make a long cast, then wind steadily to bring the bait down to its working depth. Let it dig into the bottom or bump structure, then pause for a second or two and start again. The 16.8g weight casts well on a medium rod, and you can also troll it behind a boat to cover open water. Use a line strong enough for snags, since deep cranking means contact with rock and sunken timber.
