Eel Soft Bait Single Tail 8cm 2.3g (Pack of 4)

Product Details

This eel soft bait is an 8cm, 2.3g artificial lure that copies the slim shape of a small eel, finished with a single tail. It comes as a lot of 4 pieces, and its light weight makes it a natural choice for finesse fishing with light rods and lines.

Eel-shaped prey is long, thin and supple, and that is the profile this bait gives. The single tail kicks and swings as soon as the bait moves, so even a slow retrieve gives it a lifelike swimming action. At 2.3g the body itself adds very little weight, which lets you choose how fast it sinks by the jig head or hook weight you put it on.

Rig it on a light jig head and fish it with a slow, steady wind just above the bottom, or with small lifts and drops so the tail flutters on the fall. In shallow water or over weed, rig it on a weedless hook with little or no extra weight and let it glide down slowly. A drop shot rig also works well: hook it through the nose and let the tail twitch in place near the bottom.

Soft baits wear with use, so a pack of 4 lets you replace a torn tail quickly and keep fishing. Store them flat and out of direct sun so the bodies stay straight.
