Feather Hook Big Eye Spoon Lure Single (Pack of 10)

Product Details

This feather hook is a small size stream spoon lure with a single hook dressed in feather and fur, finished with a big eye. It comes as a lot of 10 pieces, so you can fish snaggy water without worrying about losing one.

A small spoon flashes and wobbles as it moves through the current, and the feather and fur on the hook pulse and breathe even when the lure slows down. That mix of flash and soft movement gives fish a target they can see from a distance and a lifelike tail to close on. The big eye adds a clear focal point, which can draw a strike at the head of the lure where the hook sits.

Fish it on light spinning tackle in streams and small rivers. Cast up and across the current, let it swing down past rocks, undercut banks and the tail of pools, and keep just enough tension to feel the spoon working. In slower water, a steady wind with short pauses lets the feather flutter. Because the lure has a single hook, it snags less than a treble in weed and between stones, and it is easier to remove when you release a fish.

Rinse the lures after use and let the feathers dry before you put them back in the box so the dressing keeps its shape.

• Small size spoon suits streams and small rivers
