Float Worm Needle Tail Fishy Smell Grub (Pack of 50)

Product Details

This float worm is a small grub-style soft bait with a fine needle tail, made to fish under a float on a Taiwan-style rig. Each bait carries a strong fishy smell, and the pack holds 50 pieces, so you can change baits often and keep the scent fresh in the swim.

A Taiwan-style rig is a light float set-up: a slim, sensitive float, a fine main line and a short hook length, usually fished on a long rod or pole. The float shows the smallest bite, so a small, soft bait suits it. This grub sits on a small hook and hangs naturally under the float, and the thin needle tail moves with every small drift, ripple or lift of the line. That small, dynamic movement gives fish a reason to look, and the scent gives them a reason to hold on.

To fish it, thread the bait onto the hook so the point comes out in the body and the needle tail hangs free and straight. Set the float so the bait sits just off the bottom or at the depth where fish feed, and add small shot until only the tip of the float shows. Watch for small dips, lifts or a float that lies flat, and strike with a short, smooth lift.

Replace the bait when the tail tears or the smell fades. Close the bag after use so the baits keep their scent and stay soft.

This is a good size for small fish but it has a rubbery smell.
