This laser spoon lure is a compact metal jig with a surfboard, sunflower seed shape and laser sequins for strong flash. Each lot holds 2 pieces.

The laser finish breaks light into bright, moving reflections, much like the scales of a small baitfish. In clear water and sun it throws flash that predators can see from a distance, and it still catches some light on dull days. The short, rounded seed shape gives the spoon a lively wobble on the retrieve and a rocking, fluttering fall when you stop winding.

Fish it two main ways. To cast, throw it out, let it sink to the depth you want, then wind back steadily with short pauses so it flutters. To jig, let it reach the bottom, lift the rod tip sharply, then let the spoon fall back on a semi-slack line and watch for a tick or sudden slack. Both methods work from the bank, a pier or a boat, in fresh or salt water.

Tie it on with a small snap so the spoon can move freely, and rinse it in fresh water after use to keep the laser finish bright. With 2 pieces in the lot, you keep one as a spare.

  The spinners look beautiful on the outside, I bought all sizes. But the thing is, they have almost no action; perhaps they are for ice fishing. There is almost no wobble or resistance. A bit sad, as I wanted to see the action of a wobbling spinner.
