Leech Lure 5g 7.5g 15g (Pack of 2)

Product Details

This leech lure is a metal spoon with a pineapple leech shape and a treble hook, sold in a pack of 2 pieces. Choose the weight that suits your water: 5g, 7.5g or 15g.

Unlike a soft plastic leech, this is a hard metal jig bait. It casts like a spoon and sinks on its own weight, so you do not need extra weight on the line. On a steady retrieve the body wobbles and throws flash. On the drop it flutters and turns, which is the moment many predators strike. The pineapple leech profile gives a slim, compact outline that looks like small food drifting in the current.

Each weight does a different job. The 5g size suits light spinning rods, small rivers, ponds and shallow margins, where a slow, shallow retrieve keeps the spoon above weed. The 7.5g size is the all-round choice: it casts further into wind and still works at a moderate pace. The 15g size reaches long distances from the shore, gets down quickly in deep lakes or strong flow, and works well for vertical jigging from a boat or a pier.

To fish it, cast out, count it down to the depth you want, then retrieve with short pauses so the spoon flutters and drops between pulls. Near the bottom, lift the rod tip and let the lure fall back on a slack line, and watch the line for a tick or a stop, because most bites come on the fall. Vary speed and depth until you find active fish.

The treble hook gives three points, so short strikes still find a hook. A snap or split ring on the line lets the spoon move freely and makes a lure change quick. With 2 pieces in each pack, you have a spare ready if one snags on rocks or timber.
