Minnow Jerkbait Long Cast Inner Laser 11cm 13.5g

Product Details

This minnow jerkbait is an 11cm, 13.5g hard bait with an inner laser finish and a body built for long range casting. The laser layer sits inside the body, so the flash stays bright as the outside takes knocks from rocks, teeth and hooks.

A minnow jerkbait copies a small baitfish that is hurt or lost. You snap the rod tip, the lure darts to one side and rolls, and the laser panel throws a short flash of light. Then you stop, and the bait hangs or drifts for a moment. That pause is when a following fish decides to strike, so give it time, especially in cold or clear water.

The 11cm length is a mid-size profile that suits a wide range of predators in both lakes and rivers, and the 13.5g weight lets you reach far banks, open flats and fish that sit out of range of lighter baits. Long casts also mean more water covered per retrieve, which matters when fish are spread out.

To fish it, cast long, wind a few turns to bring the lure down, then work it back with two or three sharp twitches and a pause. In warm water, shorten the pauses and speed up the cadence; in cold water, slow everything down. A medium spinning or casting rod with a fast tip gives the cleanest action. Sold as 1 piece.

• Inner laser finish flashes on every twitch to draw fish from a distance
• Laser layer inside the body keeps its shine after knocks and bites
• 11cm minnow profile matches the mid-size baitfish many predators feed on

Lightweight fishing lure. They have a lot of variety. We'll have to try it and see how effective it is.

The paint is not good and the hooks are weak, but acceptable for the price.
