NED Head Jig Crank Worm Hook (Pack of 5)

Product Details

This NED head jig pairs a NED style head with a crank worm hook in a black pit finish, made for bass and mandarin fish. It comes 5 pieces per pack.

The NED rig is one of the simplest finesse setups in angling. A short soft bait sits on a mushroom-shaped head, and when the jig touches down the head stays flat while the bait stands up at an angle. Any small movement of water, or a gentle shake of the rod tip, makes the tail move, so the bait looks alive even while it rests on the bottom. That makes it a strong choice when fish are slow, cold or pressured.

The crank (offset) bend in the hook helps hold a worm-style soft bait straight and stops it slipping down the shank after a few casts or bites.

To fish it, cast, let it sink to the bottom, then drag it slowly or lift it in small hops with long pauses. Keep a light tension on the line and watch for a tap or a sideways move. Set the hook with a smooth, firm sweep.

• NED head lets the soft bait stand up off the bottom
• Crank worm hook holds the bait straight on the shank
• Black pit hook finish for a low-key look
• Finesse rig that works when fish are slow or pressured
• Made for bass and mandarin fish, 5 pieces per pack
