Red Offset Worm Hook Wide Belly Size 1/0-5/0 (Pack of 10)

Product Details

This offset worm hook has a red finish, a crank (offset) shank and a wide belly, and is made from high carbon steel for rigging soft baits on the Texas rig. It comes in sizes 1/0 to 5/0, sold as a lot of 10 pieces. The offset bend just below the eye locks the head of the soft bait in place, so the bait sits straight and does not slide down the shank.

The wide belly leaves room for a thick soft bait, so when a fish bites and you set the hook, the plastic folds out of the way and the point can get through to the fish. Thread the bait onto the offset, turn the hook and skin the point back into the plastic for a weedless rig that comes through grass, snags and rocks. Use the smaller sizes for slim baits and the larger sizes for bulky ones.

• Offset crank shank locks the head of the soft bait so it stays straight
• Wide belly gives room for thick soft baits and a clean hook set
• Texas rig design lets you hide the point for weedless fishing in cover
• Red finish adds a touch of colour at the head of the bait
• High carbon steel holds a sharp point under a hard hook set
• Sizes from 1/0 to 5/0 suit slim and bulky soft baits
