Pencil Lure Long Cast Minnow Submerged 12g 24g

Product Details

This pencil lure is a long cast hard minnow that works submerged, below the surface, and comes in 12g or 24g. The slim pencil shape cuts through the air with little drag, so it flies a long way and reaches fish feeding well beyond the range of bulkier baits.

Because it runs under the surface rather than on top, it keeps working when the water is choppy or when fish will not come up for a surface plug. Cast out, let it settle, then wind with soft twitches of the rod tip so it darts and wobbles like a fleeing baitfish. Choose 12g for lighter rods and calm days, 24g for wind, surf and maximum distance. Sold as 1 piece.

• Slim pencil body casts long, so you reach distant feeding fish
• Submerged action keeps working in chop when fish stay down
• Two weights, 12g or 24g, to match your rod and the wind
• Hard minnow body holds its shape cast after cast
• Twitch-and-wind retrieve copies a fleeing baitfish
