Pinwheel Lure Metal 3.5-6.8g (Pack of 3)

Product Details

This pinwheel lure is a metal spinner with rotating sequins, sold as a lot of 3 pieces and listed in 3.5g, 5.2g and 6.8g weights. The blade turns like a pinwheel around the body as soon as the lure moves through the water, so it gives off steady flash and a buzzing vibration that predatory fish feel through their lateral line before they see the bait. That makes it a useful search lure when you are fishing new water and want to find active fish quickly.

The three listed weights let you match the lure to the conditions. The 3.5g size suits ultralight rods, small streams and shallow ponds where a soft landing matters. The 5.2g size is an all-round choice for rivers and lake margins. The 6.8g size casts further into wind and gets down quicker in deeper runs or faster current.

Fish it with a simple cast and steady retrieve, keeping the speed just high enough for the blade to spin. Let it sink for a count or two to reach deeper fish, then reel. Short twitches or a brief pause make the blade flutter and often provoke a strike from a follower. As a compound bait with a metal body, it is easy to tie on and fish for anglers of any level.
