This plastic worm hook is built for rigging soft baits Texas style. It is made from high carbon steel with a black nickel finish and an eagle mouth bend, a shape that gives a wide opening between point and shank. That open gap leaves room for the plastic to fold out of the way on the strike, so the point can come through and set cleanly.

For a Texas rig, thread the point into the nose of the bait, push it out, slide the bait up to the eye, then turn the hook and bury or skin-hook the point. The bait comes through weed, timber and rock without snagging. The dark finish stays low-key in clear water. You get 10 hooks per pack.
