Shore Jig 10g 5.2cm Long Cast Metal Jigbait

Product Details

This shore jig is a compact metal jigbait that weighs 10g and measures 5.2cm, made for long casts from the bank, the beach, rocks or a pier. A small, dense metal body cuts through the wind and flies a long way on light tackle, so you can reach fish that feed past the first breakers or along the edge of a channel.

Shore jigging is simple to start. Cast out, let the jig sink to the depth you want, then work it back with short lifts of the rod tip and a few turns of the reel. On each drop the jig flutters and flashes like a small injured baitfish, which is when most strikes come. A steady, fast retrieve also works when fish chase bait near the surface. At 10g this hard bait suits light spinning rods and calm to moderate water, and it is a good size when the baitfish are small. Each order is 1 piece, so pick a few and keep spares in the box for snags on rough ground.
