Skirted Grub Big Tail 8cm 12g (Pack of 5)

Product Details

This skirted grub pairs a fringed skirt with a big curly tail, so the bait moves at both ends on every retrieve. Each soft bait is 8cm long and weighs 12g, which gives it enough mass to cast well and to hold its line in a breeze. The skirt flares and pulses when you pause the bait, while the big tail kicks and thumps as soon as you start reeling again. That mix of a slow, breathing body and a busy tail is what makes a skirted grub a good search bait when you do not yet know what the fish want. Thread it on a jig head and swim it back steadily, hop it along the bottom with short lifts of the rod tip, or let it fall on a slack line and watch for a tick. Slow down in cold water and let the skirt do the work. You get a lot of 5 pieces, so you can rig one, keep spares in the box and swap out a torn bait without stopping for long.

• Fringed skirt flares on the drop and pulses on the pause, so the bait looks alive even when it stops
• Big curly tail kicks on a steady retrieve and adds vibration fish can feel
• 8cm body is a mid-size profile that suits a wide range of jig heads and hooks
• 12g weight gives the bait mass for longer, more accurate casts
• Soft bait body is easy to thread straight and holds well on a jig head
• Lot of 5 pieces gives you spares when a bait tears or goes missing in a snag
