Feather Spinner Lure for Bass Spoon Jig

Product Details

This spinner lure for bass combines a spinning spoon blade with a feather jig, so it gives off flash and vibration up front and a soft, pulsing dressing at the back. Bass often hunt by feel as much as by sight, and a turning blade sends out a beat they can track in coloured water or poor light. The feather breathes and flares with every change of speed, which gives a following fish a reason to bite.

Spinner baits are search lures: they let you cover a lot of water fast and find where active bass are holding. Cast past weed edges, fallen trees, rocks and drop-offs, then wind back at a steady pace just fast enough to keep the blade turning. Wind and current help, because broken water hides the lure and makes bass less wary. If fish follow but do not commit, slow down, pause for a moment so the lure flutters down, then start again. Sold as 1 piece.
