This walker lure is a 13.5g, 8cm sinking pencil hard bait that strolls and sways from side to side under the surface. Classic walkers zig-zag on top of the water; this slow walker does the same walk-the-dog movement below it, with a light vibration you can feel through the rod, so you can use that action when fish will not come up to a surface bait.

The compact 8cm body carries 13.5g, so it casts a long way and gets down quickly. Let it sink to the depth you want, then use soft, rhythmic twitches of the rod tip on a slack line: the bait swings left, then right, like a small fish that wanders and turns. A slow, steady wind also gives a gentle sway. Pause now and then so it sinks a little and flutters, which is often when fish take.
