This weedless jig head is an anti-snagging hook for rigging soft lures, with a Z shoulder behind the head and a blood through hook tip. It is made for the places where fish hide and ordinary jigs hang up: weed beds, fallen branches, rocks and other cover. Each lot holds 10 pieces.

The Z shoulder is a zig-zag bend in the shank that grips the soft bait, so it stays straight and does not slide down after a cast or a strike. With the bait rigged weedless, the point lies close to or inside the plastic and rides through cover instead of catching on it. When a fish bites, a firm hookset drives the point through the bait. Cast tight to cover, let the lure fall, then hop or swim it back slowly through the snags.
