Cicada Lure Floating Insect 5.5cm 4.6g (Pack of 5)

Product Details

This cicada lure is a 5.5cm, 4.6g floating insect soft bait made from PVC+TPR, with a lifelike cicada shape and laser sequins that catch the light. It comes as a lot of 5 pieces.

In summer, cicadas and other large insects drop from trees into rivers, ponds and lakes, and they struggle on the surface where fish can see them. Because this bait floats, it sits in the film just like a real insect. Cast it under overhanging branches or along a tree-lined bank, let the rings fade, then give it small twitches so it buzzes and wobbles in place. Pause often, since fish usually rise to hit a bug that has gone still.

The soft PVC+TPR body feels natural when a fish closes its mouth on it, which gives you a moment longer to set the hook. At 4.6g it has enough weight to cast well on light spinning tackle while still landing softly. Rig it on a hook that suits its size and keep your retrieve slow, with plenty of pauses.

• Floating body sits on the surface like a real cicada that has dropped from a tree
• 5.5cm insect profile gives fish a full mouthful of a natural summer food
• 4.6g weight casts accurately under branches on light spinning tackle
• Soft PVC+TPR body feels natural, so fish hold on longer
• Laser sequins add flash that helps fish spot the bait from below
• Lot of 5 pieces keeps spares in the box for snags and lost baits
