Floating Swimbait Fork Tail 5.5-6.5cm (Pack of 10)

Product Details

This floating swimbait is a small soft bait made from floating material, with a fork tail that swims with a butterfly stroke action. It comes in 5.5cm or 6.5cm, with 10 pieces per lot, and the listing names mandarin fish and bass as targets.

A floating soft bait gives you control over depth that a sinking one cannot. Without weight it sits near the surface, so you can twitch it over shallow water and weed. Behind a weight on a drop shot or a Carolina rig, it rises off the bottom and hovers above snags, where fish can see it. On a light jig head the head sinks while the tail lifts, so the bait stays nose down and the tail keeps moving on the pause. The fork tail splits into two thin ends that beat like a swimmer's legs as the bait moves.

Fish it slowly. Short twitches and long pauses let the floating body and the fork tail do the work.

• Floating material holds the bait up above snags on a weighted rig
• Fork tail swims with a butterfly stroke action
• Works on a drop shot, a Carolina rig or a light jig head
• Small 5.5cm and 6.5cm sizes suit finesse fishing
• Listed for mandarin fish and bass
