Jointed Swimbait 8 Segment 9cm 16g

Product Details

This jointed swimbait has a 9cm soft body built from 8 linked segments, and it weighs 16g. Where a one-piece bait wobbles from the head, a jointed body passes the movement down its length, so the bait swims in a fluid S-curve that looks like a live fish working its tail.

Fish it when predators are feeding on baitfish but turning away from faster, flashier lures. A slow, even retrieve is the base: wind just fast enough to keep the segments swinging and let the bait hold one depth. Then add variety. A pause makes the body drift and roll as it slows; a sharp twitch makes it kick sideways like prey that has seen danger. Cast past the target and bring the bait along weed lines, rocky points, bridge supports and drop-offs, where fish wait to ambush.

The 16g weight gives you casting range on a medium rod and lets the bait run a little deeper with a count-down before you start the retrieve. Check the joints and hooks after each fish. Each listing is for 1 piece.
