Rainbow Foil Paddle Tail Bait 7.5cm 2.2g (Pack of 3)

Product Details

This paddle tail bait is a 7.5cm, 2.2g soft fish in PVC with an aluminum foil insert that throws rainbow colours as the body turns in the light. The T-shaped paddle tail beats from side to side on even a slow wind, so the bait shows two triggers at once: the thump of the tail and the flash of the foil.

Flash matters most when fish hunt by sight. On bright days the foil reflects sunlight like the scales of a small baitfish, and in stained water the extra glint helps fish pick the bait out sooner. The small size and light weight make it a finesse swimbait: rig it on a light jig head and fish it on spinning tackle with a fine line, where it casts well and swims without sinking too fast.

The easiest way to fish it is a steady retrieve at a pace where you can just feel the tail working. From there, try a slow roll near the bottom, a lift-and-fall along a drop-off, or short pauses that let the bait sink and flash before the tail kicks again. It is a useful bait to search water quickly, then slow down once you find fish. Each lot holds 3 pieces.
