Popper Bait 10g 5.5cm

Product Details

This popper bait is a hard lure for fishing in shallow water. It weighs 10g, is 5.5cm long, comes in 10 colours and is sold as 1 piece.

A popper can call fish up from deeper water, but it is at its best in the shallows, where you can work it right next to cover. Cast past docks, rocks, fallen trees and clumps of weed, then bring it back along the edge. A short jerk of the rod makes the face catch water, so the lure spits and pops, then rests on the surface. Because a popper can stay in one spot while you pop it several times, it lets you tease fish out of tight cover that a faster lure would pass by. It also works on slow days, as a few pops over the same spot can make an inactive fish strike. The 10g weight is heavy for a 5.5cm body, so this small lure casts well on a light to medium rod. Use the 10 colours to match light and water, with natural tones in clear water and brighter ones in stained water.
