Mini Floating Stickbait Glow Pencil 5cm 3.7g

Product Details

This floating stickbait is a mini glow pencil bait, 5cm long and 3.7g in weight, fitted with treble hooks and made for bass. It comes as 1 piece.

A stickbait has no lip, so the action comes from you. Keep the rod tip low, leave a little slack in the line and give short, light twitches as you wind. The small pencil body slides left and right across the surface, like a fry or small baitfish trying to escape. Because it floats, it stays on top when you stop, and a pause after a run of twitches is often when bass hit.

The glow finish helps the lure show up from below in low light, so it is a good choice at dawn, at dusk and under heavy cloud. In bright sun, fish it faster so fish have less time to look at it.

At 3.7g it is light, so it casts best on an ultralight or light spinning rod with thin line. Fish it over weed beds, along banks, past docks and in shallow bays where bass chase small prey near the top. Treble hooks give a good chance of a hook-up when a fish swipes at the lure from the side.
