Floating Grasshopper Lure Locust Hard Bait 5cm 5g

Product Details

This grasshopper lure is a floating insect hard bait with a simulation locust body, 5cm long and 5g in weight, made to catch carp. It comes as 1 piece.

In late summer, grasshoppers and locusts jump or blow off grassy banks and land in the water. They kick on the surface, and fish soon learn to take them. This lure copies that moment with an insect outline that floats on top. Cast it close to grassy banks, under overhanging plants and along weed edges. Let it land with a small splat and rest, then give short twitches so it kicks and stops like a real hopper. A slow, steady retrieve also works and makes it swim like a small minnow just under the top. At 5g it casts well on a light spinning rod, and because it floats it rises back to the surface on every pause.
