This popping lure is a hard topwater popper made for long range casts. It is 11cm long, weighs 13g, carries 3 hooks and comes as 1 piece.

A popper works by catching water in its face. Give the rod a short, sharp jerk and the lure spits a splash and makes a pop, then sits still on the surface. That noise and spray look like a baitfish feeding or fleeing at the top, and it can bring fish up from below. The 11cm body gives a longer outline than many small poppers, while the 13g weight still casts far on a medium spinning rod. A popper is also good for picking apart shallow cover, because it can stay in one spot while you pop it several times. Cast past docks, rocks, fallen trees and weed clumps, then work it back past the cover. Pop, pause, and pop again. On calm water, soft pops and long pauses often work best. In wind or chop, make the pops harder and faster so the lure stands out. With 3 hooks along the body, a fish that hits from the side or from behind still has a good chance of a hook point.
